Giftbox Ideas: Fruit Basket!

What's bright and just as colourful as sweets, but seventeen thousands times better for you, and also look just as lovely as a gift?

Fruit baskets are so beautiful and perfect for this time of the year, Spring & Summer. Not only are they good for you but fruit tastes fantastic, and just as good as any sweets. I won't lie, sweets are just as tempting - but still it's a gift idea - and alternatively, it could be the just the thing for the health nut/vegan friend you might have. So! Here are my ideas on how you could have your fruit basket...
  • Colour themed baskets - you could arrange the basket to be their favourite colours. Pinks and reds, greens for luck, or you could order the fruits in rainbow colours.
  • Red fruits- strawberries, raspberries, pomegranates, gala apples, cherries, papaya and red delicious apples
  • Orange fruit -oranges, peaches, nectarines, gala melon (well, cubed/sliced it is) and kumquats
  • Yellow fruits - bananas, pineapple, lemons, honeydew melon
  • Green fruits - limes, green grapes, kiwis, pears, watermelon
  • Dark blue/purple fruits - blueberries, red grapes, blackberries, plums, passionfruits, figs, dates, raisins
  • Fruit sculptures/cutouts. You could use letter cookie cutter to cut out 'Happy birthday' or whatever.
  • Berry fruit basket
  • Tropical themed basket (pineapples, coconuts, bananas, papaya, mangos)
  • A lovely country themed apple basket
  • Or a specific basket filled with just their favourite fruit
  • A fire coloured basket (red, orange and yellow).
  • You could have matching flowers in it. Like rainbow roses! Or fake black roses.
  • Herbal teabags with matching fruit flavours.
  • Th13teen themed fruit basket dark brown basket with striped green & black fabric and a black ribbon & bow, kiwis, granny smith apples, sticks of green grapes, pears, limes and sticks of natural liquorice bark (as an alternative Panda's soft liquorice which you can find at Holland & Barratt in the UK are vegan, so it is slightly good for you)
  • Smoothies/raw juice concoctions in potion bottles.
  • You could make fruit art! For example, a face made out of fruit, a pineapple for the head, grapes for eyes, orange segments for the smile, sliced cherry halves for the cheeks, and so on.
  • Or, a fruit bouquet instead of flowers, as illustrated above!
