Happy 2018 & Make Up Roundup

Happy new year, lovely people! Hope you all had wonderful holidays. 💜💓💜

First post of the year will be a roundup of all the daily makeup from last year (and a tiny bit of this year 😉), before I head out to see a band who I'll be posting on when I get back. Suspense! This year's going to be an exciting one hopefully, for makeup related developments.

Spent a lot of time in 2017 trying to make an effort of doing more standard alternative beauty looks, which I think I've improved upon ever so slightly 😉

New recommendations would be, I've branched out into using a few more of NYX Cosmetics' products, one of which is now the sadly discontinued Glam Liner Aqua Luxe (which looks amazing on a cut crease).  I've used Collection's Glitter liners for many years which is a more affordable alternative, but I'm currently on the hunt for another good quality glitter liner which isn't Urban Decay 😂.

The Liquid Suede cream lipstick remain a staple, however Brooklyn Thorn and Soft Spoken have both become shades I wear daily alongside Sandstorm. Tried out a few dark red shade lipsticks last year including MUA Luxe's Velvet Lip Lacquer which has two absolutely gorgeous shades, Firecracker and Flair, but the formula was far too crumbly. Wasn't too much of a fan of NYX's Liquid Suede cream lipstick in Kitten Heels as it was too bright, but finally got around to trying Cherry Skies, and it's a lovely deep shade of red.

On a non related NYX Cosmetics' note, very much like using Rimmel's Stay Matte Liquid Mousse for foundation now as it's lightweight and has great coverage. Feel like everyone already knows about the Alchemist Holographic palette from Kat Von D, but hey, the shades really are gorgeous. My new favourite eyeshadow palette since the Cold Chemistry palette from Sugarpil, is I Heart Makeup's Death By Chocolate palette (also recommend their Unicorn's Heart highlighter too).

There's a Bulbasaur daily makeup included on the collage which doesn't have its own individual post, so here's the full image! This was quite a simple look as I was really, really busy over the holidays. As always, if there are any Pokemon you folks would like to see transformed into a make up look, please feel free to drop me some suggestions in the comments. 😊
